Overview

The capital of Rajasthan, Jaipur dazzles with its rose-hued old city, the hilltop Amber Fort, the honeycombed Hawa Mahal and the royal City Palace. Roughly 280 km from Delhi, it anchors the Golden Triangle and rewards visitors with heritage, handicrafts and legendary Rajasthani thalis.

Getting there: about 5 hours from Delhi by road, around 4.5 hours by Shatabdi or Vande Bharat trains, and Jaipur International Airport has flights from across India.
